Oil – super high density
Arbequina is the most widely planted variety worldwide for super high density olive groves. We produce certified Arbequina plants with plant passport and full traceability.
Planting distances
Typically 4 × 1.5 m (about 166 plants/stremma) in super high density, or 6 × 3 m in high density with a trunk shaker.
Oil and fruit
Small fruit with good oil content, producing mild, fruity oil with low bitterness — highly commercial in international markets.
Requirements
Needs drip irrigation and balanced fertigation. Reasonably cold tolerant, but sensitive to verticillium in heavy soils.
